Community Spaces: Building Stronger Communities

Speaking of building a brighter future, Co-op Community Spaces Funding is now open for applications! This program is a fantastic opportunity for local projects to receive funding of up to $150,000. Since 2015, Co-op has invested over $10.5 million into 147 projects across Western Canada – and this year could be Ukee’s turn to shine!

Community Spaces supports projects in three key areas:

• Recreation: Imagine new playgrounds or sports fields where kids can play and grow.
• Environmental Conservation: Protecting the natural beauty of Ucluelet for generations to come.
• Urban Agriculture: Creating gardens that grow food and bring neighbors closer together.

If you have an idea or know someone who does, now is the time to act! Applications are open until March 1st, so spread the word and let’s make Ukee even better together.
