Ucluelet Co-op is turning 70, and we’re inviting the whole community to celebrate with us!

Join us on Sunday, October 4 for our 70th Anniversary Celebration. We’re still putting the finishing touches on the event, but there is already plenty to look forward to.

What We Have Planned

Our anniversary celebration will include:

- A 70-cent hot dog barbecue by donation, with proceeds supporting Food Bank on the Edge
- Goodie bags filled with treats
- An anniversary cake cutting
- Games, contests, and fun for all ages
- A visit from the Ucluelet firefighters
- Tuff City Radio on-site to host a dance-off with Cooper the Bear
- Retro green Co-op hats available for purchase

You may have already spotted some of our team wearing the retro green hats around the Co-op. They’re a fun nod to our history and will be available during the celebration while supplies last.

Celebrating with Food Bank on the Edge

We’re honoured to have Food Bank on the Edge joining the celebration. Proceeds from the hot dog barbecue will support its work in our community and help kick off an important fundraising season.

This Milestone Belongs to Our Community

Seventy years is a milestone shared by every member, customer, team member, and community partner who has been part of Ucluelet Co-op’s story. We’re grateful for the support that has carried the Co-op through seven decades, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than gathering together.
