Thank You for Celebrating 70 Years with Ucluelet Co-op

What a fun way to celebrate 70 years! Thank you to everyone who joined us on Sunday, October 4. Whether you came for a hot dog and a slice of cake or cheered on the kids dancing with Cooper, we’re glad you celebrated with us.

There was plenty to enjoy, from balloon animals to birthday cake, but the best part was sharing it with our members and neighbours.

$1,246.25 Raised for Food Bank on the Edge

Our hot dog barbecue was also a chance to support Food Bank on the Edge. Together, you helped raise $1,246.25 for their work in our community. Cris and the Food Bank volunteers helped make the barbecue happen, and your donations made it a success.

A Dance-Off with Cooper the Bear

We loved cheering on the kids who took on Cooper the Bear in our dance-off! With Tuff City Radio hosting and prizes up for grabs, they gave us plenty to cheer about.

The Ucluelet firefighters also joined us to support the celebration. Bringing a fire truck and spending time with families made their visit a special part of the day.

Guess the Cart Winners

Congratulations to Emily and her family, the winners of our Guess the Cart contest. Emily guessed $793.65 on a cart worth $794.13. Just 48 cents off! We hope they enjoy their goodies.

To our team and volunteers, thank you for the work that went into bringing this celebration together. And to our members, customers and community partners, we’re proud to celebrate this milestone with you and grateful to be your Co-op.
