Description:

Reporting to the Food Division Manager you will work closely with a meat cutter and meat clerk. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, communication, and providing the best customer service to the community.

What you’ll do:

Provide prompt, friendly and knowledgeable service to customers in the Meat Department.
Receive, inspect and properly store meat deliveries.
Cut, trim, debone and grind pieces of meat
Wrap, label and package prepared meat for the counter.
Ensure displays are full, fresh and presentable within the department.
Facing, filling and organizing of all product items.
Thorough cleaning of all machines within the department including disassembling and assembling of equipment.
Report on department performance to the Food Division Manager

Who you are:

1-2 years of previous meat cutting experience is considered an asset.
Previous knife experience is preferred.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with strong verbal communication skills.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs consistently.
You are honest and trustworthy.
You have some supervisory experience.
