Join us at Ucluelet Co-op and be a part of an exciting team dedicated to providing quality products and exceptional service to our community. Ucluelet Co-op is inviting applications for the position for a full-time Pump Attendant.

This position works evenings and must work weekends including Saturday and Sunday. Shifts start just before 2 pm and end at 10 pm.

What you’ll do:

As a member of the Gas Bar team, a Pump Attendant is responsible for
• Greet customers warmly and provide efficient and friendly service.
• Operate cash register accurately and handle cash transactions with precision.
• Monitor fuel levels and replenish gas pumps as needed.
• Fill propane tanks once training is received.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including cleaning fuel spills and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the store.
• Stock shelves with merchandise and ensure proper pricing.
• Assist customers in finding products and address any inquiries they may have.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.

Who you are:

• Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
• Physically demanding tasks including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and occasional stair climbing

• Wage starts at $19/hour, with increases every six months up to 7280 Hours
